But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.

- John 4:14

Why a Bible college?

Many people living in the remote villages of India have literally never heard the name Jesus and live in spiritual darkness.  Where as in other parts of the world money, power and things may be the foucus, demon worship and superstitions are very common in India, but as you would expect, it all can cause much pain without any sense of peace.  Although education and providing food are a big part of this ministry, the lasting change and eternal impact can only come through Christ.  With very few resources, and a lot of faith, the Bible college was started in 2011 as a way to bring the Good News to India, but it is now reaching far beyond that.

Where do the students come from?

Students come from hundreds of miles away to be a part of the Bible college.  Some students have traveled 10 days through the jungles with no guarantee of food or a place to sleep.  Other students came to know Christ through a church planter that graduated years before.  Many students come from the poorest areas including tribes that live under bridges but this only seems to allow Christ to do bigger things through them.  Kids that have grown up in the schools, churches and orphanages assocoated with the ministry are now attending the Bible college.

What does a day at the Bible college look like?

The Bible College staff takes the time to examine the heart, motives and desire of each student before accepting them, however so many have already sacrificed so much for their faith.  Students are expected to do three things: have an intimate relationship with Christ, know God's word and have a passion to share it with others.  After studying and praying each morning they take the message to the villages on foot or by bicycle.

How do they reach people with the message of Christ?

People are often resistant to the message or sometimes Christians in general.  By offering free education they are able to offer a future for these kids and build relationships in the village.  Through serving they are able to shine the light of Christ and thus people become willing to hear why they would go to such great lengths to help them with no benefit to themselves.

India is a big country with a huge population and many languages.  This makes it difficult to reach and communicate with all areas of the country. Due to the number of different languages in India, the Bible college is training people to share the love of Christ in their native communities and languages.

Can women attend?

In 2016 they were able to create a separate dorm so they could accept women students.  The hope is that they can reach other populations of people including more women and children.

What kind of impact are we talking about?

The first class graduated in May 2012 and now there are over 800 churches with 200+ students graduating and starting churches each year (as of the incoming 2023 class).  Like the schools, a church often consists of nothing more than a Bible, a front porch, and a bunch of people hungry for God's Word.  Thousands are baptized in these churches each year.

Understanding one's value is a crucial part of changing a life.  Seeing yourself, your children and others the way Christ does opens your eyes to see our potential and value.  The lower caste are not destined to be punished, but are loved and meant for more.  So much so that Christ was willing to die for us.  This is where the real change starts.

Finishing the Great Commision

There is a collective movement in Asia to not just continue the Great Commission but to finish it, meaning everyone in the world will have heard the Gospel and now the name Jesus.  How exciting is that, because we know what happens after that (Matthew 24:14).  As part of this in the coming years 250 church planters will be equipped to train 10 church planters each.  This will mean 2500 additional church planters who will transform at least one village each through a church and school.  Between the over 800 churches currently, 200+ students graduating each year and the additional 2500 churches planters there could be over 5000 churches within this ministry in the next 10 years.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes  to the Father except through me."

 - John 14:6

Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

- Matthew 16:24-25

Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

- Matthew 20:26-28

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

- Romans 6:23
